Now you have finally decided to buy a computer but you are not sure what type you want. You have to decide if you want a laptop or a desktop. These days with laptops being so popular the desktops have significantly reduced in prices. You can get a desktop for around $400.

Now you have to decide what brand of computer you want. The best computes are Dell, Gateway, Hewlett Packard and Mac. You can research other brands too but keep in mind the capacity of which you will be using the computer for. If you are looking for something to play games on and go surfing on the web then the brand name may not matter.

What type of screen are you looking for a CRT or a LCD, these days the CRT are almost extinct, the LCD screens are clearer and sharper and yes, they are bigger. Another important thing is to make sure that the computer comes with the software you are thinking of. Most computers come with the standard version of Microsoft Windows and any other soft ware may have to be individually purchased.

Lastly, keep in mind the cost and whether you are can afford it and whether or not the computer will fit your needs so you don’t have to upgrade every two or three months.
